Bill Gates is one of the most hated personalities of Silicon Valley and this incident was one of the proofs. 😶
Story started something like this,
He sold 86DOS to IBM as a Microsoft product but guess what? 🤭
It was not built by Microsoft; it was a product of Seattle Computer Products and they were given next to nothing. 😂
Moreover, Bill Gates had stolen the Apple’s Macintosh source code to learn how to make a GUI desktop personal computer work on such weak microprocessors that we had in those days. 😶
Which made Steve Jobs pretty angry.😒
Bill Gates has bought many companies just to shut them down and maintain the monopoly of Microsoft.🤷🏻♂️
He is also targeted because there are rumours about him stealing ideas of other companies and small start-ups.😕
He has also tried once to shut Open source softwares and the developers who made them were given a notice. 😅
Now, Microsoft’s acquisition of GitHub will make some sense.🤷🏻♂️
As no open-source software is out of Microsoft’s reach. Hence no competition.😏
PS: Right now he is doing a lot of philanthropic work and I totally respect him 😇 It was back in mid 1990s so, just read this and who knows they might be all rumors ? 🤷🏻♂️
